Pictured are the trees relocated to Brandon's house in the large tub. This was a unique tree rescue! We found an ad on Craig's List indicating a family was leaving Austin and needed to find a home for their Bald Cypress trees. In the 90s, they visited the Frio River in South Central Texas which is known for it's huge Bald Cypress on the banks of the river. While there, they collected a few small saplings to remember the location and brought them back to their property in Austin.

You can see the size of the water tub these trees were soaking in! This is what the specimen looked like before we got started. Quoc and Brandon are pictured here.

In this picture, you can really see the heighth of the trees. They were easily 15 feet tall.

After we dealt with the giant tub and the quad fused trunk contained within, we noticed a second pond installment. It seemed like the best use of time and resources to see if we could also collect these trees. Reached out to the contact who agreed that we could remove these as well. This expanded the haul from one huge tree to five total specimen!
